1. I really dont know why there's such a big gap between O's and A's. I still remember in O levels, prelims or the real thing itself, I always have like 30 minute extra or so after I complete the paper, probably except history and SS cause you have to write a lot. But for A levels, I was struggling to complete the paper within the 3 hours given. Chemistry also. For paper 3, I had to remind myself to stop stoning after every few parts cause there's no way I am going to complete the paper if I continue to stone. Every paper is like a race against time. Stone for 2 minutes = die, unlike for secondary 4 where you stone 15 minutes also can. (I use to do that for geog). It can be really taxing on the mind. And I calculated that I have 28 hours of papers to complete for A levels. Imagine sitting in a classroom and doing all papers within a day. O_O. I really hate papers with at least 2 hours cause you will get sick of it and you wouldnt want to do anymore and thats it.
2. Maths was bleugh. I thought it was actually ok but then a lot of careless plus wierd questions = a lot of marks lost. I cant believe I spent 15 minutes on a 3 mark inequality questions and I got bluffed by the GC. Then there's this parametric equation in which I subbed the value wrongly and there goes 10 marks
3. Chemistry was ok la, but I didnt study/didnt bother to study electrolysis and went to do that question. And the halogen question was ewy cause I dont really know how to describe the shit although I know what it is about. Organic questions are forever easier :)
4. Econs case study was wierd cause its on globalisation and I dunno what was writing about (they ask about some change in the inflationary process = ???-what the hell is a change in inflationary process). For essay, I went to do a 25 mark question on IR about the 4 macro goals but then I found nothing to write on. And its like for each essay, I had to crap a lot to give it bulk or I would never have been able to crap out so many pages. And I guessed correctly "Explain the problem of scarcity - 12 m", but I never study it anyway cause its so crap.
5. Biology was horrible and disappointing. MCQ was wierd, with very strange and vague questions. The moment I saw the first question my mind went blank and I stoned. Paper 2. I did the essay first, but realised I left out and misread the stuff. Then I went to do the structured. And I never stdy definitions whatsoever and lost like 10 marks which are there for FREE. Like the 3 monophyletic/polyphyletic/paraphyletic thingy in which I deliberately left out cause I thought it was not important. -.- Then I lost another 10 marks cause I couldnt do the genetics because I FORGOT THAT IT WAS REPULSION INCOMPLETE LINKAGE AND KEPT THINKING ABOUT COUPLING INCOMPLETE LINKAGE. And I didnt know that pure bred= true bred. RARARARARAR!
6. I just read a comment on the newspaper that a reader actually called in to tell wang yue gu to jian fei to make her more agile around the table . LOLOLOL.
