Yesterday's concert was a success. And it also marks the ending for our CO life. The whole thing was so fast: one minute I was panicking at the backstage before the start of the concert and another minute it was already down to the last 2 songs. I really liked da di hui chun and gu du feng qing and tian shan sheng hui and carmen. And the 2 concertos and all the ensemble pieces. But shui mo was boring :P. After 6 years of CO, its v sad that all these have to come to an end. The days in HCCO were fun and the people were nice, even though I came from a different school from the rest. I remember last year when we had to fight hard for da di hui chun to be our choice piece and also fought equally hard to get GWH. My heart was very heavy when we left SCH, like it would be the last time we can actually perform there. Come to think of it, I dont really mind the practices even if it meant going home at 9 everyday, or that my finger will have blisters, or constantly panicking whether I have misplaced my ten dollars pick, or really long meetings, or screwed practices that made everybody pissed - like on tuesday and saturday. I think there will be definitely something missing in my life, like questioning myself why I can get to go home at 2 on wednesdays. I will miss MPH and the juniors and wei lao and lan lao, and defnitely the experience of playing in an orchestra. I dont even know when I am going to touch my instrument again.
